North Guilford Nursery School ("NGNS") strives to provide a nurturing environment that is friendly and secure, in which young children can develop their individual personalities. Our learning curriculum is designed to enhance each child's physical, cognitive, and social and emotional development and promote independent self-help skills.

Our nursery school offers a variety of learning experiences to engage the children in exploring the world around them, to introduce concepts, pre-writing and pre-math skills, and an opportunity to foster their socialization through play with their peers. Children will be involved in a music and library program, active and quiet play, exploration and discovery, individual and small group activities, dramatic play, experiences that promote self-reliance, both child-initiated and teacher-initiated experiences, and varied choices of materials, toys, and equipment. Our goal is to provide every child a positive preschool experience.
